The execution of scientific applications needs high-processing computers and requires massive storage. This resulted in deploying a distributed environment with high performance extensive Applications processed cloud platforms face intolerable delays due to data movement across the centres. Optimized distribution datasets among global centres has become an essential issue environment. work proposes improved placement called IFA Data Placement (IFA-DP) method for heterogeneous An effective efficient optimal strategy is proposed using metaheuristic optimisation firefly algorithm. behavior fireflies finds better solution. primary aim this reduce response time cost, which then proved by simulation results. access Proposed IFA-DP less at least 2s compared existing methods.
